Achieving a career of 50 years is a milestone for any musician. AntonioPecci Fulli, better known as Toquinho has been playing the guitar since his teenage years having met Chico Barque at the age of 17 and deciding to start a music career soon after. Toquinho’s life in music commenced at age 14 when he started learning to play the piano. He later got some exposure playing in colleges before a professional career took off in the 1960s.

Now, at age 69, Toquinho will celebrate his half century feat with a performance in Boa Vista, Roraima on July 10.  The show will be held at the Amazon Center of Borders (CAF) at the Federal University of Roraima. Well known for his collaborations with Vinicius De Moraes, with whom he had a long professional relationship with, Toquinho, in his own right has become a master guitarist dating back from his first composed song in the 1960s called “Lua Cheia” and his first big hit “Que Maravilha” recorded in the seventies.

We congratulate Toquinho for his accomplishment and wish him a continued career of success as we expect to hear more material from him that is of good quality.
