Sweetness and kindness defines Carlinhos Zodi, and it reflects in his music. Playing music since he was 16 years old, he also started a TV career and became a well known director in Brazil.

His first album, Projeto Música Bonita, is an jazzy Brazilian instrumental with many influences, this album was released to become a charity project, all the funds from the album sales went to homeless people in São Paulo. His third album, Kingston Bossa, a mix of samba, bossa nova and Jamaican  rocksteady, reggae and ska. One of the curious point about this album is that it was completed in  one month with the recording of  all the instruments by done himself. To finish the album Zodi and  producer Gustah Echosound went to Jamaica to experience the vibes and record some voices on Tuff Gong,  Bob Marley’s original studio. They also were the first Brazilians to record featured tracks with the Jamaican legends Leroy Sibbles from The Heptones and Toots Hibbert from Toots and the Maytals. Carlinhos draws his musical energy from genres such as Rocksteady, Ska, Reggae, Jazz, folk, Samba,Bossa Nova, MPB and African music.
