Isabelle Antena (real name Isabelle Powaga) born May 28th 1960 in France is a pioneer of the blending of bossa nova and Brazilian influences with nu jazz and electro pop. She started out in the 1980s as the founder of the synthetic pop group ” Antena” followed in the 90s by the “Powaga Sisters” all mean while having a successful solo career.

Her solo career brought her much success in the far east , in particular Japan. In 1987 she won best international female artist at the Tokyo Music Festival. She has released a number of studio albums both solo and collaborative with her various groups.
