American jazz and pop singer, Connie Evingson has recently released her 9th album “Sweet Happy Life.”

Interestingly enough, it is a bossa nova album which is centered around the work of  lyricist Norman Gimbel who is responsible for the lyrics on the English versions of bossa nova classics such as “The Girl from Ipanema,” “How Insensitive” and “So Nice,” amongst others.
